AEP (Annual Enrollment Period) goes from October 15 through December 7 every year, here you can change from one plan to other as many time you would like. The effective date will be the 1 of the following January.
OEP (Open Enrollment Period) It goes from January 1st to March 31st every year, here you can change only once from a Medicare Advantage plan into a Medicare Supplement plan, or from a Medicare Adcantage Plan to another Medicare Advantage plan ONLY.
SEP (Special Enrollment Period) Happens when you qualify for Extra Help, move from one county to another, you are dropped by your group insurance, or decide to retire among other possibilities.
